Do the fleshy petals next to the flowers set this apart from the standard rattlesnake plantain? My Illinois wildflower book only shows Goodyera pubescens

Tim-

I mistyped.  Downy rattlesnake plantain and rattlesnake plantain are one in the same.  Goodyera pubescens.

ERIC,
Dr. John Hilty from the website illinoiswildflowers.com has identified this as Obolaria virginica (Pennywort) of the Gentian family. Dr. Hilty was present at one of the IOS birding trips down here in southern Illinois, and I showed him the pic from my iPhone.
Mystery solved!!!
