Springdale Cemetery, Peoria County

Springdale Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in Illinois. It is located along in the bluffs and valleys of the Illinois River in the city of Peoria. Birds seen include Turkey Vultures, Red-tailed Hawks, American Kestrels, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Chipping Sparrows, Palm Warblers. Eagles frequently fly overhead, as do Canada Geese and American White Pelicans during migration.
