Glen Oak Park is an old city park in Peoria, next to Springdale Cemetery.  It is located along in the bluffs and valleys of the Illinois River in the city of Peoria. Birds seen include Turkey Vultures, Red-tailed Hawks, American Kestrels, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Chipping Sparrows, Palm Warblers. Eagles frequently fly overhead, as do Canada Geese and American White Pelicans during migration.
