Northern Goshawk: Ogle Co (Central) - One was spotted on Mt. Vernon Road, south of the Railroad tracks about .5 miles on 1/26/11 (Kristin Ellis).  Mt. Vernon Road is the road just to the east of Fork Creek Road.

Snowy Owl: Ogle Co (Central) - One female was found on 1/25/11 (Lee Johnson). It was last seen on top of a power line pole on Route 72 about half way between Fork Creek Road and Brookville Road on 1/27/11 (Kristin Ellis). This bird has been seen by many in that vicinity.

TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE: Lake Co (North) - One has been seen around a private home in Deerfield since at least 1/23/11 (Wendy Brudnicki). See IBET for location details.
