A reclaimed wastewater management area, these ponds are excellent habitat and are currently being refurbished to increase the extent of habitat and maintain the soil. Shorebirds once were dominant here in migration, but habitat degradation in the late 90s it them withered. In recent years, it has shown promise again. Waterfowl, mainly puddle ducks, still love this area and if you time it right, you can nearly step on American Woodcock here (bring your good pair of eyes with you). (MAP)
