“Birding Southeast Arizona, the Camp Chiracauha Way”
Bird Club members Sulli Gibson and Ari Rice spent eleven days this past summer at Camp Chiracauha, a unique program run by the American Birding Association that draws many of the country’s best and most avid young birders. (The prevalence of “nature deficit disorder” notwithstanding.) Ari and Sulli were the only representatives from Illinois and both were recipients of ABA scholarships. Southeast Arizona was new to both of them, and they share their experiences in this avian hotspot. Hosted by: Evanston North Shore Bird Club,
